‘Tis the season for giving and the Junior League of Birmingham has a way you can do that and help more than 30 community organizations this weekend.
For the sixth year, the Junior League of Birmingham will present its Market Noel at Cahaba Grand Conference Center, 3660 Grandview Parkway. General admission shopping takes place Friday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 90 vendors will be on hand to meet all of your holiday shopping needs over the weekend. Friday’s schedule:
- 10 a.m. – Holiday Entertaining – A cooking demonstration with Southern Living’s Whitney Wright
- 1 p.m. – Cooking demo and book signing with author Anne Byrn
- 6 – 8 p.m. – Market Bliss with door prizes from Diamonds Direct and Tonya Jones Salon & Spa
Market Bliss, a night of Beauty and Bubbles, will take place on Friday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy live music from country sensation Trey Lewis and complimentary bubbles, wine and a dessert bar from Edgar’s Bakery. Experts from Tonya Jones Salon & Spa will offer a blow-out bar, mini manicures, mini massages, eyebrow arching, facials and make-up stations. Try your luck at winning a $2,000 laser package from Plastic Surgery Specialists.
Saturday’s schedule:
- 9 – 11 a.m. – Photos with Santa
- 9 – 11 a.m. – Birmingham Girls Choir performs
